0.49840 KE3700 xDSL MultiTest
Multifunctional performance tester at an entry level price!
The KE3550 xDSL MultiTest is the multifunctional and modular test instrument at an affordable price. Even in the basic version, the KE3550 offers ICT specialists and service technicians a comprehensive range of features, making it the perfect companion in copper-bound broadband networks, with numerous expansion options.
We have bundled various configurations on our KE3550 MultiTest packages pages for a special price:
KE3550 All-IP/Wi-Fi package
KE3550 All-IP package
KE3550 xDSL/LAN Tester package
In addition to ADSL1 / 2 / 2+ and VDSL2 including VDSL2 vectoring, the base configuration of the KE3550 also supports the latest VDSL2 standard SuperVectoring (VDSL 35b). At the push of a button, the connection to the respective service is started, which significantly speeds up and simplifies measurement applications. Optionally, the KE3550 can be extended to test G.fast.
The xDSL modem and router replacement mode in the device help the technician to efficiently limit faults caused by defective customer equipment, for example.
In addition to the xDSL interface, a Gigabit Ethernet interface is available. TCP / IP tests as well as HTTP / FTP performance tests for assessing the performance of the connection up to a data throughput rate of 800 Mbit/s are already possible via both interfaces in the base unit. The terminal mode available via all broadband interfaces in the KE3550 is used to simulate applications (Internet traffic), IP telephony (SIP phone emulation) and IP television (set-top box emulation).
In addition to the classic test functions for ISDN and analogue, extensive tests are available to determine the voice quality of Voice over IP (VoIP). A clear statistic of e.g. packet loss, delay, MOS etc. as well as the test handset function allow a comprehensive quality assessment. In addition to standard SIP, the KE3550 also supports SIP trunk and MultiCalling for up to 10 parallel calls.
The test function of the IPTV services includes, in addition to single and multistream, a channel scan, including display of the switching time as well as a preview image. Extensive parameter statistics allow the technician to reliably assess the transmission quality.
New Wi-Fi test functions are available for service testing in 2.4 and 5 GHz networks. Classic function tests, extensive network information, quality parameters incl. automatic good/bad evaluation and a Wi-Fi monitor are part of the range of functions. It even enables the testing of triple-play services (Data/VoIP/IPTV) in wireless networks.
The KECT cable fault measurement module that can be integrated in the housing turns the KE3550 into a fully-fledged cable fault measuring device. Cable multimeter and TDR measurements for cable analysis and fault location as well as HF measurement functions for quality assessment of the copper twin wire help the technician with the measurement tasks in the cable network. In combination with the KE905 Remote line switch, automatable measurement sequences are possible, which speeds up and simplifies the execution of measurements.
As a simple alternative to KECT, the DMM Digital Multimeter option is available to the user. The focus here is on quickly checking the building‘s internal telecommunications cabling.
The large colour display is ideally protected by safety glass and can be read in sunlight. The at-a-glance display offers a clear presentation of test-relevant line and service parameters and enables intuitive operation without time-consuming menu changes. The Multitasking function makes it possible to run several tests in parallel.
Measurement results can be saved directly as a PDF to a USB stick or evaluated and managed on a PC via the included KE-Manager software. For use in combination with digital order processing systems, the measurement results from the KE3550 can also be displayed and transmitted via QR code. The analysis function allows stored measurements to be recalled and viewed in detail directly via the unit.
